Client stories

What clients found useful

Specific client accounts of performance plan reviews, meeting preparation and employment consultations in Germany.

“My plan mixed delivery targets with complaints about communication. We separated those strands and prepared different questions for each. The written summary was the part I returned to before every review meeting.”
— Product operations lead, Berlin

“I wanted someone to tell me the employer was simply wrong. The consultation was more restrained than that, which was frustrating at first. It did show me which claims I could challenge with dates and which ones needed a change from me.”
— Account manager, Cologne

“English is my working language, but the HR letter used German employment terms I did not fully understand. Mara flagged the legal questions she could not answer and helped me prepare a much shorter brief for the lawyer.”
— Research specialist, Munich

A meeting prepared in 48 hours

A Hamburg-based employee received an invitation stating that “continued underperformance” would be discussed, without examples. During preparation we built a chronology of objectives, absences and dependencies, then drafted six factual clarification questions. The client entered the meeting able to ask for dates and standards rather than debating general impressions. The employer later supplied a written list of examples, giving the employee a record that could be assessed properly.

From twenty-seven pages to four priorities

A senior employee arrived with a plan, quarterly scorecards and a long email chain. Reviewing every disagreement in the meeting would have obscured the immediate deadline. We grouped the material around measurement, authority, resources and review dates. Four priority questions became the basis of the response, while lower-value disputes were retained in the chronology rather than forced into the first conversation.
